DESCRIPTION:Are you ready for our sports courts? They’ll be here before you know it. Let’s learn Pickleball together! They say that when you learn a new skill or hobby you have to agree to being terrible. Let’s be terrible together! We’ve booked courts at St Pete Athletic\, the hottest new Indoor Pickleball Club in the area\, as well as a private instructor to teach us a few tips on getting started with the game. We will have our own stylish & designated area to socialize courtside with an assigned server for drinks and complimentary Courtside nosh. Then after all the sweating and laughing\, we will need a reward\, yes? We’ll float over to The Aviary for a reserved area for dinner at 5PM. Dinner is optional\, and choices are each participants responsibility. Please let us know in the RSVP below if you will be staying for dinner\, as we have reserved a space specifically for our group. \n3- 5 PM Pickleball 101 Social \n5 – 6ish PM Dinner at The Aviary \n \nPLEASE WEAR YOUR ESPLANADE HAT\, if you have one!  \nKnow Before You Go- a note from St Pete Athletic \n\nCourt Attire & Equipment \n\nCourt-approved shoes are required.\nPlease wear clean\, non-marking athletic shoes.\nShoes with hard bottoms and heels will not be permitted on the court.\nYou are welcome to bring your own paddle if you wish\, otherwise club paddles will be provided for all events guests.\n\n\nWaiver Requirement \n\nEach participant will need to accept St. Pete Athletic’s terms & conditions using this link.\nYou will first be asked to enter your email address. Then using a link sent to your email\, you will be directed to fill in your name and email to sign up for an account.\nBy signing up\, you will automatically accept the terms & conditions.If you have any issues completing this process\, you are welcome to fill this out onsite when you arrive for the event.\nAnyone that has completed this process with St. Pete Athletic in the past will not need to do so again.\n\n\n\nAddress: 680 28th St S\, St. Petersburg\, FL 33712 \n\nGetting there: There is convenient onsite parking for guests. For large events\, spaces can fill up quickly so we always recommend arriving early or using a rideshare for the smoothest experience. Our venue also sits directly along the Pinellas Trail\, with a dedicated entrance for those walking or biking in.\nDriving Instructions:\n\nComing from the South/275: Exit north off of the highway and take your immediate right after you pass over the Pinellas Trail.\nComing from the North: Driving down 28th St. S\, pass over Fairfield Ave and take a left onto 7th Ave S. If you cross over the Pinellas Trail\, you’ve gone too far.
