Sunset SUP

Description

We’ll enjoy a leisurely paddle, anchor up if conditions allow, and stay out to watch the sun dip below the horizon before making our way back to shore.

This is for Coasterra members with their own paddle boards to give you an idea of one of the many clubs we could have. If anyone would like to begin a SUP Club, please email your Lifestyle Manager.

What to Bring:

• Paddleboard (if you don’t have one yet, there’s time for you to order one!!!) If you have an extra one, a few members would like to join, but don’t have one yet. Please reach out to your Lifestyle Mgr to let her know you can bring an extra.
• Paddle
• If your board is inflatable- hand or electric pump (Lifestyle Manager has an electric pump that takes about 10 min/board. Arrive at 6:15, if you’d like to use.
• Beverage of choice (and way to secure it to your board)
• Anchor if you have one
• Bug Spray, sunscreen, and a dry bag

Good to know:

• This community excursion is led by your Lifestyle Manager, Jessie Griffith until an Esplanade member takes over this club.
• If you are new to paddling, we will help you get your sea legs. All levels welcome.
• Parking is limited, so please park thoughtfully and carpool whenever possible, especially if attending as a couple. Parking is an unmarked, dirt lot.
• Weather-related cancellations will be posted on the community Facebook page. We will be looking for winds under 10 mph for this paddle.
• We will reschedule if we cancel, and if there is interest, we will have more paddling excursions.
• There is no wash station at this launch.
• If you have not closed on your home yet, we will have a waiver for you to sign.
